The first minor "quality" update in quite some time, as opposed to the streak of full-on feature updates that were released this past year. It's small, but one that will hopefully have quality-of-life dividends for new players. Feedback has shown that a common chokepoint for players during character creation is coming up with attacks for their characters to perform when performing a 15-Point Tag-Team Attack. Up until now, players have had no choice but to go through a complex process of conceptualizing a move with another player, as well as the GM, and then pick from a list of modifiers and calculate the resulting damage and modifiers of the attack. This grants players a lot of freedom but can be daunting for many new players. This update streamlines the process while still providing the customization options veteran players have come to expect!
The "15-Pointer" Update
Rules for creating 15-Point Tag-Team Attacks have been streamlined:
There are now default options for these attacks at character creation, rather than requiring every player to come up with their own attack and build it from scratch
The old rules for creating them are still present, so veteran players and players brimming with ideas can still create custom attacks as they have in previous versions of the rules
Suggested status effects are now listed for each Type in the Signature Attacks section of character creation
